It is difficult to get there, you have to cross a vast sea of dunes, the <strong>Djourab's big erg<\/strong>but the rewards are enormous: forests of stone spires towering over the dunes, enormous <em>gueltas<\/em> that lead into deep canyons, labyrinths of eroded rock, colourful lagoons, acacia forests, nomadic camps of <em>tubus, tedas, dazas and zagawa<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Getting lost in the <strong>Oyo labyrinth<\/strong>to enter the majestic <strong>Guelta d'Archei<\/strong>where the last crocodiles of the desert live, cool off in the <strong>Ounianga Lakes<\/strong>, <em>World Heritage<\/em> for its great beauty thanks to the variety of shapes, sizes and colours, or camping among the <strong>Wadi Arou\u00e9 dunes<\/strong>will make this trip unique.<\/p>\n<p>From <strong>Ndjamena<\/strong> We will fly over the great Erg of Djourab, in an unrepeatable flight that will take us up to <strong>Faya Largeau<\/strong>the capital of the Chadian Sahara; a miracle of nature in the heart of the Sahara. <strong>Borkou desert<\/strong>What better experience than camping among the dunes and, after the Maghreb, the sunset prayer, playing with the camel drivers at the Fos and sitting by the fire to have dinner and talk about life or old djinns' stories? After leaving the <strong>Ounianga Lakes<\/strong> and cross the <strong>Mourdi depression<\/strong> and the <strong>Bir Kora tank cemetery<\/strong>\u00a0(ghostly memories of Libya's defeat), you reach Fada, the heart of the Ennedi massif, home to the tribes <em>bideyat, zagawa and mourdias<\/em>.
