Today the Zuerat mining train, the longest in the world, has been on my mind. I have seen it on several occasions when leaving Nouadhibou on my way to Western Sahara, and I can attest that it is long because it seemed as if it would never end.<\/p>\n<p>Well, I've been thinking all day about escaping and catching that train and getting to the Zuerat mines in the Tiris desert, in the north of Mauritania.<\/p>\n<p>And it's only been one day.
