02 Aug Kenya/ Tanzania. My birthday
LAKE VICTORIA
Good morning, everyone.
I can finally connect to the internet, there has been no way to get it before. Many things have happened to me since the last time.
With great pain in my heart, and as much as I begged them that I do best in luxury hotels, I had to change the location of my command post on the beach for another, less glamorous one. I had to change the location of my command post on the beach for this other, less glamorous one. ! how little joy lasts in a poor man's house!
Although I can't complain about the views I had from my other command post in the heart of the Serengeti either.
Like, for example, this sunrise
or these acacias
What a pity that my camera cannot show you the thousands of stars and the noises of the wild animals that I see and hear from my tent at night, it is breathtaking.
Last night, and I'm not exaggerating, two lions came to our camp, I didn't take a picture just in case.
I've been wandering around Kenya and Tanzania for a while now with groups of 20 people, and the truth is that I'm delighted, so far I've been very lucky with the groups I've been in. Finally people ask me, "Tell me, you were in Iraq, right? How was it? And I start with: it was terrible, it was a bullet, etc etc etc.
What a great group that has just left, they don't know how much I'm going to miss them, I hope the next ones will be like this one, well, if only with more girls.
This photo is on our arrival at Ngorongoro, as always, in very good company, and perfectly masked as a dogflautist.
My job as a guide demands a great deal of versatility, I have even had to act as a hairdresser.
Today I am attaching some photos of my trip to Lake Victoria, in the Tanzanian part of the lake, a trip that, although it takes about 16 hours by truck to get there, is always worthwhile.
On the way to the lake we had to stop in the town of Kissi to restock. In the town's flea market you can find everything from authentic Ralph laurant polo shirts to a CD of Georgi Dan's greatest hits, you just have to know how to look for them.
We were in a fishing village on the shores of the lake, where as soon as I arrived I was adopted by a girl attached to a huge booger, who did not let go of my arm for a second, despite my calls for help to the girls in the group.
Well, I'll leave you, the group is leaving tomorrow for Zanzibar and I'm about to return to Nairobi to catch the next group, tomorrow I'll post some more pictures of the Maasai villages.
one more picture
and one more small landscape, this time the last one for today.
By the way, these bastards have made me excited, yesterday we celebrated my birthday, which is tomorrow and they gave me a surprise.
I miss them, I miss them
and if I miss them, imagine the ones I always miss, especially today, which is my birthday....
See you tomorrow[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]

Posted at 15:54h, 06 Augustcarlitos, I'm home. You finally got the safari, you're a horse.
By the way, see if you can take photos with gorillas, which I imagine are out there (isn't that where the gorillas in the fog movie is?).
By the way, ask for a hunter who must be around, his name is Eduardo Pellicer. He must be around now.
Tomorrow more
