The last frontier

(Namibia)

Namibia is one of the must-visit destinations for lovers of vast deserts and limitless open spaces, with mountain-high dunes, sparkling salt lakes and expansive plains of savannah. There you will find the Namib, the red desertThe sea, a rolling sandy sea that stretches for over a hundred kilometres, from its meeting with a coastline littered with dead ships on the beach, home to millions of seabirds and the largest colony of seals in the world. Africa.

The trail will take us from the silence of the Deadvlei valley of dunes and dead acacia trees to the DamaralandOne of the few remaining unspoilt landscapes in the world. We will cross places as different as Solitaire or an old diamond mine inhabited only by a group of sea lions. We will stroll through the city of SwakopmundA strange mix that takes us to an ancient Bavarian town nestled in Africa between the Namib dunes and the Atlantic coast. We will see sunset in Skeleton Coastin the loneliness of the dunes of Torra Bay and sleep by the fire at the foot of Spitzkoppethe sacred rocks of the bushmen that stand vigilant over the lands of the Kalahari.

We will continue north towards the Kaokoland, by Endless ochre dirt roads, baobabs and remote Himba and Herero villages. There also inhabit the desert elephant, reticulated giraffes and the black rhino. We will cross the Etosha National Parkone of the largest reserves of Africa, in whose ponds it is quite possible to spot the Big Five.

We will complete the tour by enjoying the luxury of a private reserve, resting from the trip, going on safaris and taking in all the experiences of one of the most varied and incredible journeys in Africa.
