The Zuerat mining train

Day 1 of "voluntary" quarantine at home:

I have been locked in my room for several hours and I am worried because my head is starting to wander because of the isolation and deprivation of freedom and the dreams of pending adventures are becoming more insistent. Today the Zuerat mining train, the longest in the world, has been on my mind. I have seen it on several occasions when leaving Nouadhibou on my way to Western Sahara, and I can attest that it is long because it seemed as if it would never end.

Well, I've been thinking all day about escaping and catching that train and getting to the Zuerat mines in the Tiris desert, in the north of Mauritania.

And it's only been one day. I'm going to drink my ration of colacao to see if I can neutralise the pain.

As I told you, I'm still waiting to get on this train, so the pictures are not mine, they are from @santerironty and @trulsoma. Thank you very much for sharing them
