08 Mar Libya: the Ubari dunes
Hello everyone, I'm leaving my journalistic adventure for a moment and I'm coming back to the blog because I have something special to tell (and I don't want fame to change me, I want to keep being me 🙂 so I'm going back to my essences.
The other day I flew over the sea of Ubari dunes. It was in a C-130 Hercules, just like the ones I used to fly in those days when I used to jump out of planes and had all the vices of my youth (I used to go out clubbing, I liked women and I was full of colacaos...no, there are vices that you never completely give up).
And the other day, as then, I was happy to smell the paraffin again, that unforgettable aroma that always accompanies adventure and precedes the unknown...
Well, I flew in a Hercules, but this time, instead of going to the kennel, where they insist on sending me again and again, I went in the cockpit with a friend who wanted to show me why he became a pilot, and why, despite so many years flying, he is still happy every day he flies over the desert.
And this is just a sample, I didn't sleep that night because of the excitement (because of the flight).
Thank you very much Omar for this gift, but you've created a monster, because I'm already looking forward to repeat it, and I have many plans...
